Our Policy

When you upload any media, you must confirm that you have the rights to upload it, edit it, apply Lip Sync to it, and clone any voice contained in it. We do not process any material that is morally reprehensible or illegal. Illegal content will be reported to the authorities.

What this means in practice

  • Your responsibility
You must hold all necessary rights and permissions for every video and audio file you upload, including rights to translate, dub, edit timing, enable Lip Sync, and clone the speaker’s voice.

  • Consent for people in your media
If third parties appear in your content, you must have a lawful basis, for example, consent, to process their voices and images.

  • Prohibited content
We do not allow uploads that are pornographic, unlawful, or that infringe the rights of others.

  • Enforcement
We may block processing, suspend access, and report illegal material to law enforcement.

Notes

  • For teams, the uploader is responsible for ensuring all required permissions and consents are in place before processing.

  • If you process personal data in your media, make sure you have a signed DPA with CHAMELAION.

  • You can view our DPA under chamelaion.com/dpa

  • Please send your signed DPAs to [email protected]
