Account basics
An account is your personal login. A project is where your team’s files live. You can be in one or many team projects with the same account.
If you are invited to work on a project that you did not create yourself, you will find it under Shared projects, and you will get a notification on the website and by email.
How to create your account or a new one
Open https://app.chamelaion.com/login and either sign in with Google or follow the instructions.
Enter your work email, and set a strong password.
Check your inbox and select Verify email.
Log in and set your display name.
If the email did not arrive, check spam, then select Resend on the sign-up screen.
Accept an invitation
Find the invitation email and click on Accept Invite.
If you do not have an account yet, complete the sign-up.
You will be added to the workspace automatically.
Tip: If you cannot find the email, you will also get a notification under the bell icon in the upper right corner 🔔.
Find your projects
Select Projects through the bar at the top.
Use the tabs to switch between My projects and Shared projects.
Use the search in the top bar to jump to a project or file fast.
Tip: If you just accepted an invite, refresh the page. The project will appear under Shared projects within a few seconds.
Notifications
Invitations and important updates appear under the bell icon 🔔 and are also emailed to you. Open a notification to go straight to the project or item.
Profile settings
Open the profile menu and click on settings to update your name, email, or delete your account altogether.
Under Settings and Team Management, you can also invite users to your account, share projects with them and decide per-project whether they can edit files or only view them.
Here you can also directly upgrade your plan, if you need to and tailor it to your wishes.
Tip: If at any time you want to know how many tokens you still have left, click on the profile icon in the upper right corner. Here you will also find information on when the new token cycle starts, and your tokens will be filled up again 👍.
